There is a possible take over bid from Walt Disney to acquire Marvel Entertainment (MVL). MVL has seen lower range of revenue and sales figures from the last movies. MVL has produced many blockbuster movies in the past and its movies have been hugely successful in ticket sale. But the other fact is that it has seen 60% drop in its earning. The investors were worried about its future ventures. A production house has to make money in its each quarter to keep its operations going on. Walt Disney’s offer would combine the two big entertainment houses together. MVL owns exclusive rights of many books and comics series as well. Two publications combined together would make readers and viewers asking more value for money. Investors are always happy with all the moves such as M&A. There have been many such deals in the past which have given new lease of life to the older company.
